One of the best restaurants in Padua is Restaurant San Crispino, where we recommend to try their sorana tuna; tofu supreme (vegetarian). The restaurant opened in 2012 thanks to the San Crispino Property, a Padova-based estate agency. The owners took over and then closed a restaurant which had become a reference point in the neighborhood of Arcella, to the north of the Saint Antonio’s city. Then they opened it again, this time giving special attention to the interior decoration and to the menu. The kitchen is run by the chef Mauro Pavia, who came back to Italy after years of experience abroad. The menu includes the finest food, especially fish dishes. As starters, pounded Sorana meat and tuna tartare, as a first course, tagliatelle of Kamut flour with bream and, as a second course, Sorana fillets in bacon pastry crust. Wide choice of cheese. Bread and breadsticks baked in the restaurant oven, excellent handmade ice-cream, the tastiest entry in the dessert list. To meet the needs of any customers, we also have a menu completely addressed to vegetarians and people who follow a healthy diet. Customers with dogs are welcome.
